Gala 2022
Easterseals Dupage and Fox Valley’s spring fundraising gala held at the Four Seasons Chicago. As the first in person Gala after the pandemic, we were thrilled to see our biggest supporters return with more determination than ever.
Easterseals Dupage and Fox Valley’s annual summer bike ride. This event raises funds for adaptive bikes so that clients can cruise around the neighborhood with their friends and families. Did I mention the tacos and beer?
Superhero Hustle 5k
Easterseals Dupage and Fox Valley’s annual autumn 5k and fun run. Hosted at the Easterseals building in Villa Park this event includes hotdogs, live music, raffles, professional cosplayers, and the superhuman skills of the Jesse White Tumblers.
Sometimes you make something on spec and it doesn’t turn out. Sometimes you make a pitch deck for someone who’s trying to scam you. Sometimes it turns out really nice anyway!
Reverb Magazine
Chicago Reverb is a local music magazine focused on local venues and bands, and features articles on the music industry.
A smart watch app for stargazing and annoying your friends by telling them, “you’re such a scorpio rising”, and “I can’t hang out today, mercury is in retrograde”.

Easterseals Dupage & Fox Valley
Easterseals Dupage & Fox Valley serves their local community need by providing expert services for children with disabilities and developmental delays. They depend heavily on the support of a thriving community.
Events include, “Bike for the Kids”, “Superhero Hustle 5k”, “Annual Gala Auction”, which bring hundreds of participants. Families, friends, and neighbors all pull together to make this possible.
In addition to creating branding and collateral for these events, I also handled interior communications and smaller events such as “Giving Tuesday”, and getting the word out about volunteer opportunities.
Tellin’ Tales Theatre
This theatre company is one of a kind, radically inclusive, and an absolute gem in the world famous Chicago scene. At it’s core, Tellin’ Tales is about bringing together disabled and able actors, writers, and artists to share deeply personal stories about what makes us who we are, and find universal truths.
I have been with Tellin’ Tales for as long as I remember, and am proud to be part of the second generation of members, following my mother. I first participated in productions in their middle school program, “Six Stories Up”, where I developed deep relationships with mentors, and the other kids who shaped my understanding of writing, story telling, intersectionality, and design.
As a designer, I am happy to work with them by creating promotional fliers, social media posts, and doing layout for their volunteer news letters.
Elmhurst Park District
As a life long Elmhurst Resident, I have been so glad to work with this phenomenal team. I started as a part time employee here working in after school and summer programs.
The “Branching Out” initiative is a mentorship program that we built for full and part time employees to launch our young employees, build community, and to lay the foundation for the next generation of Park District leadership.
